Or it could just be the new Mongoose. You might know that if you ever played Halo.
Beat me to it. It's not a new vehicle, it's the redesigned mongoose.
Luke (Froman) Timmins. He's a bit crazy and obviously has some sort of A.D.D. haha. Hilarious though. He's awesome in the Bungie Podcasts (which has bad language. Don't listen little kiddies).
They're bleeped. Who cares? Have any of you listened to their podcasts? Plenty of unbleeped cussing. It's really not a big deal. Bungie is known for just telling it like it is around their community. They don't sugar coat things. I'm glad it finally came out in a ViDoc. They're excited, they're adults, and they cuss. Get over it.
I've read quite a few previews going into the beta and most seem thrilled. I can't wait to get my hands on the game in 2 weeks. It's going to be so much fun trying all the new things.
After reading some, I saw the new button layout in an Ars Technica preview. Let's just say everyone who plays Halo 3 should switch to bumper jumper to prep for the beta.
Not surprising. It's a much bigger release than ODST.
And I love how people hate on marketing. You guys are ridiculous. lol. "Let the game do the talking". Such a ridiculous statement. Let's say some company that isn't MS doesn't put out commercials or marketing for their great game and that game doesn't sell as well as it should. Would they be stupid or did they do the right thing and "let the game do the talking"?
EDIT: The answer is, they'd be ...
Content complete doesn't mean that all of the game is done. The main content is in place and ready to be made all shiny and what-not. Don't think this means the game is done and all they're doing is touching things up. The content is all there but there's still plenty to do.
Most of you are reading this way wrong.
The whole comment was made because they aren't discussing the single player right now. It's still being worked on and it still seems like Bungie is trying to do something very special with the single player campaign.
Don't get too down because of the comment Brian made. It had more to do with MP being the main focal point in the media.
Wow, a whole Halo article with only one troll comment. I'm impressed.
Invasion looks so very fun and Boneyard looks absolutely amazing. One of the cooler Halo maps I've seen. Only a little over 2 weeks until we get our hands on the beta. I can't wait.
What part of NPD don't you understand? I'll explain it for you if you'd like.
Did you even read it? Nothing he said was "immature".
And as GEC said, why should he comment on worldwide sales when it's the NPD numbers he is commenting on?
Which means absolutely nothing. Place holder date.
Why haven't people caught on to this? If nothing official is announced, you can assure that any retailers date is simply a place holder.
The beta can't come soon enough. It is unfortunate that I have to work that first day, but I'm off the next day.
You're right. We'll never know the truth that they are an evil money-grabbing corporation. Oh wait...they pretty much already said that's what they are.
Haha on the Verizon TvGuide thing, they show who is scheduled on the show and it says, "blogger Cliff Bleszinski".
I thought that was kind of funny.
They still need a publisher so they'll get a game out in whatever time the publisher wishes. If the publisher is understandable (something it seems MS wasn't), then Bungie should be able to do what they like, in the time frame they like.
It's well known that MS forced the issue with Halo 2, so this really isn't surprising news. Had MS given Bungie all the time they needed, then we may have a completely different 3rd game of the trilogy.
And maybe the 2nd and 3rd game's story wouldn't have felt a bit rushed.
You never see Bungie talk down about another game or developer.
Exactly. the Halo story is very deep. I'm sure Killzone's is too, though I have never read up on it.
Sure, the story in the Halo games aren't the best, but if you're going to say that you have to know the Killzone back story to understand, then you can say the same about Halo. Read up on the back story and the games make way more sense.
May 3rd, Grab a copy of ODST and you're in.
A bunch of flaming heads in Reach is going to be rather hilarious.
